IT Compliance Analyst
Location: Austin, TX
ClearDATA is hiring a IT Compliance Analyst to join our growing Privacy & Compliance team. What you’ll do :
This role will report to the Director of Compliance, Privacy & Security. You will assess the security and privacy compliance of the internal organization and operations, while supporting the continuous improvement of the corporate compliance posture.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Information Systems or related field required
- At least 1-2 years of experience in assessing internal operations against recognized security frameworks/standards (ISO 27001/2, NIST, HITRUST, etc.)
- ISO 27001 or IIA Certified Internal Auditor certification. Equivalent certifications may be substituted, upon validation
- Firm understanding of internal auditing standards (e.g., IIA, ISACA)
- Ability to translate compliance controls to documented policies and procedures for the business
- Interest in learning security and compliance regulations
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to create and execute audit plans
- Project management experience with the ability to work cross-functionally across multiple areas of the business
- Self-starter who works well individually or on teams
- Detail-oriented nature to identify problem areas and analyze data; ability to derive commensurate findings and recommendations
- Excellent written and oral skills with ability to present technical information to senior management
- Desire to achieve CISA certification within the first 12 months of employment (if not already certified)

- Experience in Cloud Hosting Solutions
- Experience working with HIPAA regulations
- Experience in Healthcare IT
- Proficient in preparing reports and presentations using MS Office applications
