We are organized into agile, cross-functional product line teams consisting of Engineering, Product and Design which allows us to develop deep expertise and rapidly deliver high-value features and functionality.

RigUp is hiring a full-time IT Manager in Austin. In this role, you’ll manage the IT team focusing on office hardware, budgeting, office build-outs, tooling and security enhancements.

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage the IT team and support the IT operations for over 300 employees and contractors at Rigup HQ and remote offices
• Provide excellent and timely support and act as an escalation point for the team
• Develop security policies and best practices as detailed in security assessment reports
• Manage all aspects of the office IT equipment including networking and A/V
• Build relationships and negotiate deals with vendors and 3rd party contractors
• Hands-on approach with all IT projects and paving the way for new IT initiatives
• Manage assets using JAMF and Intune to maintain active inventory, deploy policies and software, and maintain patch levels
• Support large company-wide meetings for local and remote offices
• Continually evaluate staffing needs to maintain or exceed expected support levels
• Support department specific applications and processes Work with architects, PM’s and contractors to manage new office builds
• Own company-wide tooling including budgeting, approval process and quarterly reviews with department heads

What you should have:

• 8+ years of corporate IT management experience 
• Prior experience with managing IT at rapidly growing companies 
• Proven hands-on leadership experience 
• Extensive Knowledge of Mac and Windows OS, Gsuite, JAMF and Intune
• Fundamental network knowledge including subnetting, domain and DNS management, and troubleshooting
• SSO experience with Okta, Gsuite or other tools Cloud application security knowledge 
• Meraki networking experience (great to have)
• Bettercloud or other 3rd party automation suites (great to have)
• Video conferencing support with Meet and Zoom (great to have)
