IT Specialist

OutboundEngine is seeking an IT Specialist to provide outstanding support for our employees. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, highly motivated, customer focused with a can-do attitude. We need someone who drives for results, has the ability to quickly learn new technologies, and make an immediate impact. This role is for someone who wants to grow their career while working at one of the fastest growing software startups in Austin.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage support ticket requests in a timely manner and assist with walk-up requests
  • Image and deploy Mac workstations/laptops for new hires
  • Maintain inventory of computer assets and telephony equipment
  • Engage in projects that streamline processes and improve overall user experience
  • Perform inter-office and department equipment moves
  • Administer macOS software and Windows installations and upgrades
  • Responsible for on-boarding/off-boarding of employee accounts and equipment
  • Document working knowledge of infrastructure and internal processes
  • Manage cloud-based VoIP phone system
  • Set up printers, peripherals, and networking equipment
  • Configure and troubleshoot AV and video conference technologies
  • Run/support monthly new hire orientation classes for IT on-boarding

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of experience providing technical support to end users
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with teammates
  • Customer service-orientated with great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with an acute attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • G Suite administration
  • Cisco Meraki portfolio
  • macOS Server, Munki, DEP, VPP, and MDM
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, and/or Apple certifications
  • Scripting experience with either bash and/or python
