Who You Are
- You've worked at least 1-2 years in desktop/server support (or equivalent experience)
- You're organized, can communicate well, and love providing awesome customer service
- You're constantly assessing, prioritizing and solving problems
- You're comfortable with installing, configuring, and fixing supported products
- You've solved problems with Active Directory (AD), TCP/IP networks, and common iOS/Mac/Windows applications
- You've supported current hardware platforms, mobile devices, and printers and consider yourself highly knowledgable of iOS, Mac OS X, Windows, and Microsoft Office
- You've studied and used Information Systems security principles
- You've used Help Desk Issue Tracking Systems to assign, delegate, and/or resolve end-user issues
- You love Apple products
- Bonus points if you have experience with Google GSuite, and you are familiar with JAMF Casper Suite, Atlassian Suite, Meraki/Cisco, VMware/AWS, and Linux
What You'll Do
- You will be primarily supporting our Rx Saver team and their remote contractors
- You'll provide desk-side and remote technical assistance, sometimes after regular business hours, via email, ticketing software, in person, or over the phone
- You will administer and manage user accounts as well as handle on-boarding and off-boarding employees and their accounts
- You'll create, update, and resolve issues using our issue tracking system and create/update our wiki and other documentation
- You'll gather quotes, purchase, and maintain inventory and licensing of software and hardware, lease agreements, service contracts, and vendor support agreements
- You'll install, configure, and support primarily iOS devices, but also MacOS/Windows desktops, laptops, virtual workstations, servers, applications, VoIP phones, printers, scanners, and conferencing A/V equipment
- You may help maintain our network while configuring TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP etc. and implement basic security concepts, firewalls (hardware/software), antivirus and malware prevention/removal
- You'll adhere to, monitor and implement IT policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and securing operational data
- We sometimes work evenings, weekends, or outside of normal business hours; moderate lifting may be required; other duties may be assigned
