Rex seeks a self-driven, mission-aligned elite IT Support Engineer who is hands-on when needed, but also drives to enable teammates to self-serve their IT needs. You will be supporting an 70+ person organization that will be growing to ~200 people in the next year. 

In year one you will:

• Serve as the first contact with teammates who need technical assistance and support
• Coordinate with hiring managers to handle technical onboarding and off-boarding activities, such as user account creation and application installation
• Maintain and improve IT technologies to facilitate, automate, and/or streamline business processes
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
• Support AV and video conferencing systems

What you must have:

• 0 - 2 years of experience in a technical support role
• Ability to take on complex problems, learn quickly, and push relentlessly towards scalable solutions
• Track record of successfully managing IT Systems
• A passion for providing quick resolutions and comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in early-stage companies
• Experience working with Google Suite, AWS, Routers/Switches, VPN, APIs, scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Supporting Mac OS and Windows desktops, printers and other peripherals. 
• Strong understanding of current technologies and ability to engage with top technical talent
• Ability to create tools for stakeholders to engage in self-help
• Ability to work in person in Austin, Texas (or willing to relocate)
