Manager, Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing
Summary
The Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing team is looking for a highly experienced Manager who is passionate about sourcing the best products/services, with the best suppliers in the lowest cost fashion to keep the company's overall operating expense and costs down with best-in-class contract favorability.
The ideal candidate will be part of a team responsible for continuing the building out of the indirect sourcing function including policy deployment, driving organizational change, sourcing internal spend and usage data and creating the most efficient and effective indirect sourcing projects around the Aristocrat infrastructure. What You'll Do

  • Play a key role in driving more effective contracts and entering supplier negotiations that better benefit Aristocrat both in cost and service offerings as well as streamlining the tools and processes we utilize.
  • Drive effective and efficient global indirect sourcing projects to lower the operating expense of the company at all levels.
  • Manage and execute contract agreements consistent with Aristocrat Sourcing P2P guidelines, and Compliance to agreement.
  • Manage daily indirect purchasing requirements and tasks at tactical and strategic levels.
  • Direct process and strategy for complex request bid packages and proposals (RFQ, RFI, RFP).
  • Support Indirect Global Sourcing Directors on project related tasks and Purchase Requisitions, and Supplier engagement.
  • Reconcile open purchase orders, follow up on delivery dates, PO closure, ensure processing of AP actions including invoice payment.
  • Handle daily communications with internal Stakeholders and Customers, to include Project managers, Budget holders, Legal, Risk, Cyber and Data Privacy Mgmt.
  • Evangelize and support stakeholders through procurement process and policies.
  • Manage a series of indirect spend category projects including the Request for Information (RFI) phase, official Request for quotes (RFQs) and related revisions and negotiations, as well as execution hand off to Indirect Sr Buyer/ Buyer.
  • Manage and execute long form contracts as well as flow Purchase Order (PO) requirements to indirect buyers for execution on time ensuring key contractual flow-downs are documented.
  • Engagement with key stakeholders; daily interactions will include, but not limited to senior leadership in Finance, IT, Global Supply chain, Travel, Marketing, Digital (Pixel United), Legal, and HR (People & Culture). This role is reporting to Director, IGSS.
  • Drive insight and regular reporting cadence on all key indirect spend - aligning with the analytics team lead to ensure understanding key areas of spend, upcoming contracts renewals, necessary RFPs, or key procurements.
  • All other duties as assigned.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related required.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Indirect sourcing and contracts experience.
  • Formal training/highly developed skills in negotiations and contract redlines.
  • Exceptional process rigor related to RFI, RFQ and RFP management.
  • Strong industry experience and Indirect category subject matter expertise. Experience to include knowledge of industry trends, leading suppliers, procurement strategies and levers.
  • Manage internal stakeholder relationships through cross functional business engagement.
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence others to listen, commit, and act on a new approach.
  • Self-confident with an ability to accept and respond to challenges in a positive manner.
  • Developed quantitative and qualitative skills, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Project Management (PMP), Supply Chain certifications a plus.
