The Opportunity:

HomeAway is seeking a highly-motivated Manager of Analytics & Reporting to join our Global Partner Success Operations team in Austin, Texas. The Global Partner Success Operations team produces enterprise-wide visualizations and analytical reporting used by both account managers and senior leadership to make key business decisions. The team consists of high performing creative data analysts capable of crafting and developing critical data sources along with the business knowledge to communicate their findings.

As the manager of our Global Partner Success Operations (GPSO) team, you will be recognized as both a data and business authority by HomeAway leadership. You will be driving the strategy and vision for reporting and analytics across the GPSO organization. You’ll have the significant responsibility of ensuring that financial data needs have been recognized, scoped, prioritized, and delivered as useful and creative visualizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and run the Global Partner Success Operations team of Sales Analysts responsible for strategic report development, analysis, visualizations, and a/b testing of sales programs
  • Drive improvements to sales reporting through meetings with sales leadership to understand business challenges, user needs, and quantifying benefits to the organization
  • Drive the development and updates of sales reports including forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business reviews for the global sales team
  • Present findings and insights via presentations and meetings to facilitate informed decision-making for the senior sales leadership team
  • Develop & pitch business cases (business challenge, hypothesis, measurement for success) for Sales enablement initiatives to secure resources for new projects
  • Partner with sales leaders to accurately define & prioritize the backlog to ensure we - Drive adoption of our sales reports and dashboards are utilized to their fullest potential to maximize usage and insights
  • Ensure standardized processes and cadence is met for the base line reporting and analysis of global reporting to partners
  • Analyze ad-hoc requests to determine strategies & solutions to mitigate, deflect, and prevent these types of requests through self-service reporting options
  • Work with the team to develop solid peer review process for all new reports & changes to provide optimal partner experience with new features
  • Provide the team with mentorship and leadership towards individual and team goals
  • Partner with the larger sales ops team including tools, operational reporting, process &training teams to deliver a full end to end product for sales
  • Work closely with our BI and Data Warehousing teams to achieve results & advanced reporting solutions
  • Drive the Global Partner Success Operations quickly & efficiently resolve day to day issues with existing reports as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a management role leading a successful team to drive improvements & transformation in the organization
  • 5+ years in an analyst role (business, sales, data, systems)
  • Expertise with identifying and reporting metrics, developing forecasts, and delivering return on investment measurements across business programs
  • Expertise with BI tools (Tableau preferred) for visualizations and end user consumption
  • Understand of data and reporting solutions for e-commerce businesses
  • Strong SQL and Excel experience including writing SQL queries for data extraction
  • Experience crafting A/B tests and test/control groups
  • Superb social skills
  • Partnering with IT departments to implement projects through the agile and scrum framework
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience inspiring change through uncertainty. Projects and assignments will change rapidly, so the manager ought to be flexible enough to accommodate changing priorities and timelines
  • Experience working with leadership teams to lead change through bringing together high level requirements and executing with strong solutions
  • Expertise with planning and tracking tools (Jira, Basecamp, Asana)
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced Master’s Degree preferred
