The LifeCare Researcher is responsible for researching, finding, and contacting resources that support and assist our clients. A LifeCare Researcher is tasked with locating the most appropriate community-based resources to match a client’s presenting need. Researchers contact these resources directly to assess the appropriateness of their services and to determine whether those resources will suit the presenting needs of their clients. Some areas of need in the Parenting and Education are prenatal resources, child care options, adoption, academics, and special needs.

What You'll Be Working On: 

  • Ensure the needs of LifeCare’s clients are being met by using a variety of tools (internal database and internet) to locate potential resources.
  • Research, map, telephonically contact, and pre-screen potential resources that meet client-specific case requirements.
  • Suggest and implement new research sources, tools, methodologies, and analysis techniques and share this knowledge with peers.
  • Ensure highest quality of client satisfaction by meeting the company standards for daily productivity and casework quality.
  • Maintain timely, detailed, and appropriate documentation regarding case research, case status, research process, and results.
  • Assist with special projects as requested.
  • Any and all responsibilities as assigned by management.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree preferred.
  • In lieu of degree, 1-2 years experience in an appropriate field.
  • Top-notch researching and networking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates high dedication to team members and needs of the team
  • Strong attention to detail and adhere to call center metrics
  • Excellent digital literacy and keyboarding skills.
  • Advanced skills with MS applications
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred.
