We are looking for a National Director of Nursing Care Management that will be responsible for the nursing team across Babylon. This position is responsible for the on-going support, audit, training, and compliance of the clinical nurse and support team in accordance with Company policies and procedures, State professional standards and all health care regulatory and accreditation requirements. The National Nursing Director maintains a cohesive relationship with the key stakeholders, other area leaders, and corporate clinical operations to maximize the effectiveness of the Clinical Team.

Responsibilities

  • Knowledgeable of the scope of services that we can provide and assists in assessing and managing difficult cases especially as it relates to care management services. Will lead nurses and support staff in the care management programs. Will understand the management and financial responsibility associated with care management programs. 
  • Works closely with the Babylon 360 Leadership team in an effective and collaborative manner
  • Works with the Clinical Affairs and Quality departments to update and revise policies/procedures as necessary
  • Works closely with clinical managers to ensure clinical competence, compliance with policy, staff productivity and cost efficiency 
  • Ensures completion of complaint follow up and root cause analysis for events including patient events and privacy events
  • Coordinates peer review process with compliance Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of patient care, including, when appropriate, in home evaluations of field staff
  • Ability to optimize work flows and essential staff duties Responsible for adhering to the legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding and confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
  • Assists by representing the corporate clinical team on various transformation and operational work streams and committees
  • Builds a cohesive, service-oriented team through recruitment, training and development, engagement and retention of qualified team members.
  • Maintains a work environment in which staff will succeed and grow in their professional development and contribute to the overall success of Babylon Health.
  • Responsible for the coordination, training, monitoring, and measuring of performance around care management for our patients

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and extensive knowledge in the healthcare arena
  • Active and unrestricted RN licensure
  • Experience with care management programs including developing care management process and procedures for nurses, oversight of nurses and other support staff for providing care within the program
  • Experience developing comprehensive assessments and care plans that includes engagement, monitoring, and coordinating with the patients, providers, other support members, and necessary clinical resources
  • Experience managing the execution of care management programs on all levels, including financially
  • Experience in total quality management /lean six sigma techniques as well as Medicaid, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage models.
  • 10+ years of experience in progressive leadership responsibility roles in healthcare organizations
  • National oversight of Nursing/Support Staff preferred
