About the role:

LumApps is seeking a highly motivated Office Manager to join our Austin team! Our ideal candidate has experience working in a small office, is a creative, natural problem solver, and enjoys wearing many different hats. Our Office Manager is a champion of LumApps’ culture and is committed to making our offices an amazing place to work. 

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the other office managers located in France
  • Participate in the planning and execution of company events
  • Train and support employees on purchase request tools and processes
  • Prepare, order, and ship IT/office supplies for the office and new hires when requested
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flight and hotel reservations for employees upon request
  • Handle all correspondence and queries regarding office management and supplies
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and order new supplies as needed
  • Perform or coordinate office equipment maintenance including organization and repairs
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers 
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Assist HR with new US employee on-boarding and orientation when requested
  • Support the HR and Admin teams with a variety of ad hoc activities
  • Manage employee-facing intranet page for Austin office

What we are looking for:

  • Prior office management experience, preferably at a tech start-up
  • Google Workspace proficiency
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
  • An inquisitive problem-solver who approaches each challenge with a smile and positive attitude
  • Comfortable taking initiative and working independently when needed
  • Detail oriented

Our office is located just outside downtown Austin on the corner of South 1st and Riverside. We're in a great location, within walking distance to a ton of great fitness clubs, restaurants and bars!
