As the Packaging Coordinator, your role is to help support all packaging efforts relating to new and existing products. You will work independently and alongside the Packaging Lead to complete tasks according to project timelines and to specific product needs. This role is critical to the development team as you will help organize and maintain all digital packaging documents. You will be instrumental with working with the Creative Department, Category Management, Program Management, and Suppliers as the work completed by the Packaging Coordinator is visible to all departments. You are highly organized and can multi task while priorities change.

A look at your day-to-day

• Assist the Packaging Lead with day to day tasks that extend across all categories.
• Work cross functionally with New Product Development, Marketing, Creative, Quality, YETI Asia Team, and external Suppliers.
• Maintain digital document organization within BOX/YETI drive for all artwork, quotes, and guidelines.
• Issue and track Purchasing Requests in SAP.
• Organize all physical Golden Samples on-site in conjunction with QC and Suppliers.
• Proactively anticipate and track critical dates and associated milestones or deadlines that are set by YETI Program Managers and/or Suppliers to ensure product timelines are met.
• Able to proof read, interpret, and track artwork for all product packaging that is sent to suppliers.
• Generate packaging specification drafts for all products.
• Create, submit, and track In-Motion briefs to YETI Creative for specified packaging artwork.
• Attend weekly meetings alongside Packaging Lead to help track activities needing completion.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant professional experience in a supporting role.
• Results driven with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Detail oriented and exceptionally organized.
• Demonstrated time and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and able to interact on a professional level with internal and external personnel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; able to manage changing priorities effectively.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Comfortable handling detailed daily tasks while also applying your own creativity to numerous special projects.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
