Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, this contract position should have a strong understanding of logistics, marketing and communication. Experience in logistics, hospitality and/or event management required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent real-world experience required. This is a part-time position that could lead to a full timerole.
Requirements:
- Support Events Team with coordination of ongoing logistics associated with trade shows, including tradeshow registration for attendees, booking booth and/or meeting space, sponsorship deliverables, exhibition materials, food and refreshments, happy hours and/or dinners, hotel accommodations and travel
- Coordinate logistics associated with training, including but not limited to booking venues in various cities, tracking participants and communicating event info, ensuring payment is received, food and refreshments, happy hours and/or dinners, hotel accommodations and travel
- Support management of Drillinginfo’s master Tradeshow Calendar
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up, budgeting, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong focus on execution and deadlines
- Adept at handling multiple projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Entry level contract role with potential for extension
