Core responsibilities:

  • Drive performance management by objectives and key results
  • Manage a professional services team of 7 to 9 direct, technical reports
  • Maniacal focus on client satisfaction and service delivery
  • Oversee team's engagement schedule and utilization targets
  • Enhance, improve, and streamline cloud service line offerings
  • Grow, develop, promote, and retain direct reports

Accountable for:

  • Quarterly customer net promoter score objectives and key results
  • Quarterly team utilization and gross margin objectives and key results
  • Quarterly practice improvement objectives and key results
  • Quarterly team retention objectives and key results

Desired qualifications:

  • 5+ years of cybersecurity experience including at least 2 years of management experience
  • Prior experience in technical project management and service delivery
  • Prior experience in account management and customer relationships
  • Prior experience in people management and managing a technical team
  • Prior experience working alongside cloud and infrastructure teams
  • Familiarity securing the public cloud and popular cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, & GCP
  • Experience with threat modeling, asset risk analysis, and translating security to business outcomes
  • Bachelors in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, math, or physics

+1 additional qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cutting-edge cloud tech stacks, modern cloud security technologies, and best practices
  • Familiarity with modern security patterns and continuous security architecture principles
  • Familiarity with popular cloud blueprints, cloud design patterns, cloud architectures
  • SEC540, SEC541, SEC584, SEC557, SEC588, and/or MGT516, MGT520 certifications a plus
  • Prior consulting experience with the Big 4 or Big 3 a major plus

If this position is wildly successful, in one year you will have:

  • 85% or greater customer net promoter score
  • 85% or greater employee net promoter score
  • 80% or greater resource utilization
  • 10% or less voluntary team attrition
  • Taken joint ownership of the cloud security practice
  • Demonstrated execution with an ability to consistently hit team OKRs

Targeted Base Salary:

  • Annual Base of 160K-200K
  • To account for a higher cost of living areas, we have modified our salaries for the following metropolitan areas:
    • Seattle: 185K - 232K
    • New York: 169K - 242K
    • Boston: 168K -210K
    • Washington DC: 185K - 231K
    • San Francisco: 212K - 266K
