Forcepoint is looking for a Principal Security Architect who will be a thought leader and technical member of the Security & Governance team to provide strategic direction, leadership and vision, to define and implement security services and reusable frameworks – aimed at mitigating cyber security threats across the company’s software development lifecycle and architectures deployed across a hybrid cloud environment. The right candidate will rely on a broad skill set across multiple technologies and will have a passion for security, automation and continuous improvement. He/She will collaborate closely and frequently with IT/Software engineers and cloud architects across multiple functions to achieve the outcome. As a Security Architect of Cybersecurity company, this person will also spearhead the Forcepoint-on-Forcepoint program with objective to be the first & best customers of Forcepoint products and influence the direction of the product.

This is a hands-on role that will interact with peer Architects/SMEs and all levels of the Business. The individual is a self-starter and has the ability to operate effectively and independently even with ambiguity.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing security infrastructure for both on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Partners closely with stakeholders across multiple functions to achieve the Corporate and Product Security Governance needs
• Develops, implements and promotes the adoption of security and access policies appropriate to various customer environments.
• Helps define and shape the future of DevSecOps partnering with R&D to develop and deploy automation tools and services that enable software developers to easily consume security as a service.
• Create tooling and automation to continuously improve the monitoring, management and reliability of the corporate infrastructure from a security perspective
• Perform periodic security audits and assessments for existing corporate infrastructure, new global business initiatives, and potential third-party acquisitions.
• Evaluates and recommends new and emerging security products and technologies.
• Participate in the Enterprise Architecture Board and provide technical guidance in the areas of Network Architecture and Security
• Be the thought leader with the Forcepoint R&D and Product Management, and drive the Forcepoint-on-Forcepoint program with rigor and elegance. 
• Provide technical leadership to less experienced members of the team
• Assist in the development of corporate security policies and guidelines

Education, Experience, and Skills

• A BS/MS degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in security, preferably in a larger or high growth enterprise environment.
• Professional IT security certification(s), such as CISSP, CEH, CISA, etc.
• Expert level knowledge of a wide range of security-related technologies; such as DLP, NAC, IDS\IPS, SIEM, Kerberos, encryption and hashing concepts, TACACS, PKI, web proxies, vulnerability assessment, CASB, MFA/SSO, etc.
• Strong experience in Cloud Security with IaaS, SaaS, PaaS providers (AWS, Azure, Salesforce, SAP, Office365, etc)
• Profound understanding of TCP/IP, dynamic routing, next-generation firewall technologies, and all other aspects of network security.
• Experience in the incident handling procedures and intrusion analysis models.
• In-depth understanding of common Internet-centric applications and protocols such as: HTTP, SMTP, SSL\TLS, IPSEC, SSH, BGP, NTP, and DNS.
• High familiarity with Forcepoint products (Triton AP-Email, DLP, Stonesoft NGFW, etc) is a plus
• Working knowledge of common security scripting languages (Python, Powershell, Groovy, etc).
• In-depth understanding of OWASP Top 10 and SANS/CIS Top 20 Critical Security Controls.
• Prior experience implementing and maintaining corporate compliance, privacy, and frameworks such as NIST 800-53, 800-171, ISO 27001, and ISO 27018.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead people of all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customer facing discussions.
• Strongly committed to team success, and strive for personal excellence. Ability to self-motivate and define priorities to meet critical deadlines.
