Overview

As part of this dynamic team, the Global Finance team is seeking an experienced procurement professional who is familiar with a variety of procurement concepts, practices, and processes. We seek an individual who embraces challenges and can rely on his/her experience, educational background and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

You will

• Establish and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders aimed at identifying, understanding and fulfilling their requirements to meet key business objectives.
• Assist to implement effective corporate communications for continuous procurement awareness to develop a culture of driving stakeholder early engagement with the procurement team.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and manage cost reduction activities to achieve annual cost savings and cost avoidance goals without compromising relationship integrity, supply assurance or quality.
• Review existing contracts and gather business requirements to formulate sourcing strategies and planning for renewals.
• Assist to establish vendor life-cycle strategy to oversee planning, sourcing and selection of new suppliers, manage data for vendor performance and manage vendor off-boarding and transition.
• Proactively collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to lead contract negotiation with suppliers; develop negotiation approaches, fallback positions and acceptable terms and conditions through completion and identifying key benchmarks to measure contractual arrangements.
• Perform spend analysis to help develop and implement category strategies.
• Assist cross-functional teams in the identification of alternative product/suppliers facilitate qualification trials and conduct supplier management to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier contracts and any modifications within contracts (expiration dates, renewals).

You have

• Bachelor's Degree with 3+ years of procurement experience with indirect commodity purchases.
• A thorough understanding of procurement principles and strategies.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about procurement with excellent communication skills; results and people oriented; strong project management and influencing skills.
• Strong negotiator and ability to deal effectively with suppliers in various indirect categories.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of fundamental financial concepts.
• Understanding of business controls policies, processes, and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
