As a Research Manager at QuestionPro, you're a detail-oriented go-getter who can design, coordinate and execute a variety of qualitative and quantitative research studies, often across multiple clients and projects simultaneously. You also have high level consulting and project management skills. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic and highly capable Research and Insights team at QuestionPro. You will work closely with all members of the team, across departments and offices worldwide. 

Day to day activities:

  • Lead projects and consult with clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Scoping projects with clients
  • Writing and helping on RFPs
  • Designing and programming surveys
  • Fielding and managing surveys
  • Conducting statistical analysis
  • Writing reports
  • Building/managing a customer research panel

Desired Skills: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business with an interest or focus in market research, OR Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Math, Psychology, Sociology, etc. 
  • 3-5 years of experience in the research industry 
  • Knowledge of statistics/research design
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Hands-on experience with SPSS (preferred) or SAS
  • Hands-on experience programming professional survey software
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent client engagement and interpersonal/communication skills

General Research:

  • Consistently deliver accurate/reliable timing and pricing proposals as well as resourcing estimations
  • Able to recommend helpful/interesting research tools to aid in project efficiency, relevancy and/or aesthetics
  • Support and manage a wide variety of market research studies and initiatives. Working collaboratively with business partners and clients to understand, help define and answer critical business questions.
  • Manage multiple projects (custom and tracking studies) and prioritize projects within strategic business priorities (while maintaining a “roll up your sleeves, and dig into the data/findings” mindset and approach to your work)
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by recommending appropriate analytic approaches and identifying new ways to apply research and analytics to grow the business
  • Present results and recommendations to ensure complex work is accessible, actionable, and drives business results

Quantitative:

  • A foundational background in quantitative methods with the ability to drive approach recommendations
  • Able to develop sound, actionable and comprehensive survey questionnaires
  • Analysis, synthesis and findings report generation
  • Able to weave qualitative and quantitative data together seamlessly

Qualitative:

  • Work effectively with clients to understand overall objectives and other project design considerations, as well as maintaining communication throughout entire process
  • Design projects from start to finish (choose approach & partners, craft proposals, etc.)
  • Draft screeners and discussion guides
  • Manage recruiting partners to fulfill participant quotas
  • Moderate/facilitate qualitative research
  • Synthesize and present research findings and artifacts (including key findings, personas, journeys and opportunities) to internal stakeholders and clients
