We are currently seeking a Resource Operations Manager to join our growing Resource Management team. The Resource Operations Manager is responsible to track resourcing needs and provide a connection point for data to all staffing parties (Resource Management, Talent Acquisition, Client Finance, Department leadership and hiring managers).  This role will be focused on Creative Resources within our organization and report into the Director of Resource Management for Creative staffing.  You will not only track the data, but work with the team members to establish insights that allow for strategic staffing decisions. Ultimately, you will ensure that all staffing functions are in line with our strategic goals. 

 

All employees are currently working remote; once our offices re-open, this position can be in one of our offices, including New York City, Boston, Chicago, Austin, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Florham Park, NJ.

 

Responsibilities: 

  •  Resourcing tools governance, maintenance, reporting and optimization. 

  • Work with RM and Finance leadership to maximize the efficiency of business procedures. 

  • T rack resource requests, allocations, validate funding and other KPIs aligned with the role and department.

  • Ensure staff plans are created, consolidated and updated to provide a holistic view of the department and forecasts as it pertains to creative staff specifically.

  • Monitor staffing data and recommend solutions that will improve profitability.  

  •  Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition, Finance and Resource Director to ensure our hiring plans meet our business needs.

  • Take into account the needs of internal leads and incorporate them into new strategic plans. 

  • Help source creative freelance candidates and review with Resource Director and Creative leads. 

  • Work with staffing partners to help assign the right creative talent to work.   

  

Skills/Experience: 

  • Identification of resource issues: Comfort in identifying and presenting creative talent for assignments related to the work. 

  • Analytical capabilities: ability to compile and analyze key information, issues and trends, creating effective operational reports to provide further insights. 

  • Business acumen: Understanding of staffing business KPIs and impact on overall margins.

  • Business partnering: ability to maintain in-depth knowledge of creative talent needs to make resourcing assignments. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • 1-2+ years’ experience in a resource management, creative recruiting, or creative operations role in an agency environment. 

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment where clear structure and process may not always be apparent. 

  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, with a high degree of flexibility and to have an objective focused and positive approach.

  • Solid understanding of Excel and ability to create reports, analyze data and find insights.

  • Excellent customer service, documentation, and communication skills for a variety of audiences, ranging from business leads to Finance.

  • Highly organized and have a passion for spreadsheets! 

  • Has an eye for next level creative talent of all functions.

  • BA or higher in an applicable field preferred.
