About the Role

We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated, and independent Systems Administrator to join our Revenue Operations Team here at Shogun.

Your primary responsibility will develop, build and deploy new business processes and improvements to our Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platform configurations. You will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our platform.

In this role, you will gain exposure to a wide variety of challenges, processes, and data that makes the engine of this revenue organization hum. Sample areas of responsibility include:


Here's what you'll do:

  • Systems and Operations - Learn about the business needs of the revenue organization and utilize your deep knowledge of Salesforce to design and build processes and automation, in order to create the most efficient Salesforce configuration possible
  • Vendor Management - You will work closely with our vendors and potential vendors to ensure each team has what they need to be successful
  • Internal Support - Since we're still in scrappy startup mode, there's a lot of rolling up your sleeves and getting into the weeds to drive direct impact on a daily basis. We knock out today's problems while also balancing our need to build for the long-term.  


Here's what we're looking for:

You must have the ability to multitask, quickly pick up new concepts and projects while maintaining an upbeat and positive outlook in a fast-moving environment.

  • Self-starter – You have a bias towards action and are able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment. Strong time management skills (We juggle a lot!)
  • Process and operational thinking - you can tackle a problem independently and quickly iterate to a solution, and then also document it in a way that's easy to understand for all audiences
  • Project manager – You have strong project management and process improvement skills. You can carry and own a project from start to finish.
  • Team player - You can easily collaborate with others and manage processes involving many stakeholders.  You enjoying teaching others and asking/answering questions.
  • Articulate – Superb writing skills and experience communicating via email and digital messaging tools about technical issues and how to resolve them
  • Salesforce guru – You have deep and ever-improving understanding of Salesforce and the surrounding ecosystem, including 3rd party products.
    • 3+ Years of experience working as as a Salesforce Administrator
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative tools such as Flow and Process Builder
    • Hands on experience in performing complex data loads
    • The ability to maintain and improve current Salesforce infrastructure
    • Experience with Salesforce lightning preferred
    • Experience with different third party tools such as Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, Chorus.io ect preferred
