Security Analyst

What You’ll Do
Iodine is privileged to be entrusted with the healthcare data of millions of patients from across the country. Protecting the privacy and security of that data is our most important job. As a member of Iodine's Information Security Team, you will be responsible for day to day security operations, incident investigation, and helping design the future of Iodine's Information Security System. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and creating security infrastructure in our next-generation hosting platform
- Operating and monitoring an array of security products to help us remain vigilant
- Responding to potential security threats across Iodine's enterprise
- Oversee Iodine's Vulnerability Management Program
- Working with Iodine Compliance and Risk teams to ensure we're doing the best possible job of minimizing and mitigating threats
What You’ll Need
Minimum Requirements (Education, certifications and experience):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a Security Engineer, SOC Analyst, or other hands-on information security role
- At least one year of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- At least three years of experience administering Linux systems
- At least two years of experience working with information security tools such as (SIEM, CSPM, Vulnerability Scanners, etc.)
Preferred Requirements:
- Information Security Certifications such as CompTIA, CISSP, etc
- Experience working in information security for healthcare or other highly-regulated industries
- At least two years’ experience with network infrastructure concepts including Firewalls, VPN's, IDS/IPS, etc
- At least one year experience with EDR systems
- Prior experience with SOC2/HITRUST compliance
