We're seeking a passionate and thoughtful Senior Behavior Scientist to work within our growing team in a dynamic, rapidly expanding organization. This Senior Behavioral Scientist will exhibit best practices in research and intellectual leadership. This person will also work to identify innovative research themes related to behavior science’s core interests while leading on the preparation of technical documents for reporting. We’re looking for someone who can manage personal administrative tasks related to their own work, and also participate in cross-cutting, institute activities, and processes in a group setting.


The ideal candidate will have experience designing world-class, engaging consumer mobile and web experiences and be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Working with internal and external teams to create chronic condition-related behavior change 
  • Developing and applying behavioral science concepts and strategic thinking, theoretical frameworks, appropriate methodologies, and techniques 
  • Managing research and technical contributions from team members, including partners and consultants, through to the production and dissemination of final outputs 
  • Write, co-write, edit and publish a diversity of outputs (peer-reviewed articles, behavior management plans, case studies) jointly authored with multidisciplinary teams 
  • Contribute to the behavior science team’s ongoing programs and the development and implementation of new research agendas 
  • Actively disseminate key findings and messages through formal presentations, informal dialogues, and event organization and participation 
  • Writing/editing lessons and infographics to increase health knowledge, self-knowledge, and habit formation
  • Collaborating with a team of writers to build out editorial calendars for a variety of health conditions.
  • Writing audio/video scripts
  • Helping people make health transformations that last

You’ll bring:

  • Ph.D. in applied psychology, health psychology, public health, cognitive science, social psychology, or other related fields 
  • 3-5 years working in the behavior science 
  • Substantial research background and experience evidenced by a track record of publications of different nature and by roles in research processes 
  • Fluency in English to convey complex messages in a clear, concise, and effective manner to different audiences orally and in writing
  • High level of technical, analytical, and conceptual skills 
  • Organizational skills for self and others
  • Projects: hands-on experience in managing and implementing the project cycle 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
