Owns key programs and projects to drive critical business inputs to Whole Foods Market’s E-commerce channels such as capacity, fulfillment and labor planning. Drives programmatic improvements and continuously reviews forecasting inputs to drive needed changes downstream. Leads program definition and execution in partnership with operations, capacity planning, finance and technology. Monitors the online grocery industry, providing thought leadership and innovation to drive the evolution of grocery E-commerce at Whole Foods Market and Amazon.

  • Core Responsibilities

  • Executes assigned E-commerce programs and projects related to S&OP
  • Identifies and recommends optimizations for program execution based on competitive analysis, customer insights, customer feedback, and assessment of business results.
  • Develops program-specific tactics and goals to achieve business and customer engagement objectives.
  • Leads execution of programs including managing timelines, budgets, and program status communication
  • Ensures / develops weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting for Ecommerce programs.
  • Identifies reporting requirements and ensures access to program-related data
  • Partners with marketing analytics to assess metrics / dashboard and identify key performance insights.
  • Maintains awareness of Ecommerce trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring for new TMs.
  • Serves as a resource on WFM capabilities and captainships.
  • Informally shares appreciation and feedback to improve the performance of others.

 

 

Education & Experience

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

 

 

Skills

Understanding of Ecommerce strategy, planning, and execution. Good quantitative and financial analysis skills. Good analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening. Presents information and responds to questions with guidance, one-on-one, and with internal and external customers. Tailors communication approach to specific situations and audiences. Ability to leverage, influence, navigate, and build partnerships across business teams. Impacts the quality of own work and that of the team. Ability to build and nurture relationships with cross-functional Team Members. Understands standard project management methodologies and requirements. Ability to plan, estimate, organize, and monitor projects. Ability to keep projects on track financially, creatively, and in accordance with stakeholder deadlines. Understands company, business unit, and/or project strategy, goals, and objectives. Able to identify alignment / misalignment of team / program goals with larger organizational strategy, goals, and objectives. Understands the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations.
