The Sr. Business Operations Manager acts as the single point of contact for all marketing contracts and partner to Finance and Accounting for both Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh brands.
This role is a member of the Global Marketing Operations team and reports to the Executive Leader of Marketing Operations. This position is based in Austin, TX and will require 50% of your time in our downtown HQ office (550 Bowie St).
Responsibilities:
Acts as single point of contact for Finance, Accounting and Legal, ensuring company and dept policies are adhered to in Marketing for Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh
In partnership with finance, manages reporting, tracking, reconciliations through Adaptive planning tool
Helps Marketing for new contracts in compliance with Legal and STP
Aids Reporting Analysts with Marketing vendor set-up, as needed
stakeholder feedback for improvements
Reports on spending trends and budget available (Actuals to Expectations variances) to Leadership for Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh
Provides guidance for the Marketing Contracts Manager related to services outsourced by the marketing team including agency services, production services, influencers & partnerships, contract labor, software licenses and other general marketing services.
Contributes to formal RFP evaluations, managing process, spiriting fairness in evaluation, aligning with legal requirements, and collaborating with Marketing Contract Manager on crafting SOWs
Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Finance and Accounting team members from Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh on a regular basis – as well as engage directly with agencies, partners, contractors, and vendors, as necessary.
Creates standardized procedures for business operations including contracts, invoicing, renewals, and solicits Provides regular monthly reporting requests for expenses, and ad hoc reports as needed for leadership review

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Legal, Finance or related field
Desired 5+ years’ professional experience in Marketing or Finance including contract detail management and exposure to negotiations
Experience with Onit, SharePoint, Cumulus, Workfront is a plus
Passion for details and organization at all levels, with vision for broader goals
Familiarity with Marketing disciplines including Production, Media, Contract Labor, SaaS, and Rights & Usage (talent, photography, fonts, etc.) Union Talent & Residuals experience a plus.
Influencer contract experience (especially Social, Video, Digital content) a plus
Multi-tasker at heart; true passion for proactive planning of details & timelines, paired with comfort operating at the speed of retail and agility to manage quick changes
