We are looking for a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong drive to solve security challenges and the desire to implement best-in-class security measures using cutting edge technology. The right person for this role has a proven track record of delivering high-quality security solutions in a scaling environment.

What you will do:

  • Author analytic threat assessments about potential operational and strategic cyber threats or risks to CLEAR and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders to support their decision-making. 
  • Coordinate with counterparts, associated stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to make intelligence based recommendations on mitigating risk and help inform protocols and practices. 
  • Work closely with the senior security and Intel leadership, help drive decision making based on intelligence to foster and grow new opportunities for CLEAR and our mission. 
  • Develop intelligence sharing relationships with domestic and international peers, public sector counterparts and relevant think tanks and academic organizations.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate accurate and timely threat intelligence to support action plans based on impact, credibility, and likelihood. 
  • Identify and develop a portfolio of threat and actor profiles, threat activity, trends, and common attack vectors from all available sources 
  • Supports the coordinated response to cyber related incidents to prevent additional loss and to assist in impact analysis and mitigation 
  • Identify gaps in intel acquisition strategy and lead changes in covering identified gaps 
  • Coordinates with IT, the SOC, and IR teams to inform and enhance the threat intelligence platform 
  • Conduct studies and make recommendations to produce a library of cyber threats, threat vectors, threat actors, and threat trends for security analysts and development team consumption during threat modeling activities 
  • Develop, create, and drive current and new reporting methods of Intelligence analysis to peers and leadership teams for purposes of situational awareness and making Intelligence actionable 
  • Write intelligence and technical articles for knowledge sharing 
  • Engage in self-directed continued learning, research, and expansion of skill sets essential to the role

Who you are:

  • 3+ years in the following:
    • Conducting personnel assessments to determine risks to the organization as part of an insider threat practice
    •  working in an Intelligence function, analyzing risk and authoring reports and conducting briefings that provide stakeholders with proactive, actionable insight about security concerns 
    • Analyzing strategic enterprise risk as it relates to geopolitical, security, economic, policy and social developments that are big-picture and granular in nature 
  • Comfortable working independently and self-prioritizing
  • Knowledge of common adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs) 
  • Solid experience with open source intelligence (OSINT) collection and analysis
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and the Intelligence Cycle
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology and security principles
  • Experience with threat intelligence tools & management platforms
  • Ability to produce actionable, distributable analysis and finished intelligence products extrapolated from raw data and multiple sources
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and solid experience producing reports for senior management
  • Experienced cyber intelligence professional
  • Experienced with industry standard DLP tooling and practices
