What you’ll do:
- Manage a growing end user environment of 700+ laptops (80% Apple macOS and 20% Microsoft Windows)
- Provide tier 2 / 3 system support to a geographically dispersed team of amazing colleagues
- Research and deploy new technologies to provide the best tools to keep everyone productive
- Conduct routine patching and security assessments to ensure a secure computing environment
- Manage purchasing and inventory of IT managed hardware and assets
- Collaborate with Redis teams to ensure their technology needs are met
- Create and update processes and procedures to ensure compliance with audit and customer requirements
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years experience managing Apple devices in an enterprise environment
- 5+ years experience managing Microsoft Windows devices
- 3+ years experience administering Google Workspace/G Suite.
- 3+ years experience administering collaboration tools such as Slack and Zoom
- Experience deploying and patching OSes and applications via an MDM solution. JAMF preferred
- Proficient with endpoint security solutions such as Crowdstrike Falcon, Tenable.io, and Code42 Incydr
- Understanding of core network hardware and concepts (Switches, routers, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve end user issues in a timely manner
- Outgoing and collaborative personality
Extra great if you have:
- Experience with at least one scripting language
- Worked with popular cloud platforms such as Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Microsoft Office 365, Amazon Web Services
- Exposure to Cisco Meraki solutions
- Understanding of Zoom Room and AV systems
- Local to the San Francisco Bay Area or Austin-Round Rock Area (Preferred)
- Enjoys geeky side projects
- Can explain the Konomi code
