Amherst is seeking a resourceful, analytical, results-oriented Sr. Brand Manager to drive strategy and execution across B2C marketing initiatives in order to support staggering growth. Our ideal candidate will drive marketing innovation that moves our industry and brings our product, sales and marketing teams into alignment.
This role will serve as a strategic partner to the B2C business leads and will own the brand development, campaigns, new product development and customer lifecycle that aligns to business goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies that engage decision makers across the marketing funnel for acquisitions, rental, homes sales, mortgage, and other retail services
Author strategic decks to align with leaders and move work forward
Develop creative briefs and manage third-party agencies on behalf of the retail segment to elevate the brands
Partner with social media to maintain a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns
Devise and track KPIs and analyze performance against marketing goals to help inform and optimize strategy
Develop go to market strategies for product segments including campaign development, customer journey, user personas, competitive analysis, media buying and KPIs
Create plan and roadmap for content marketing
Develop and manage a marketing roadmap for the year and set weekly targets, dashboards, and provide updates to key stakeholders on a consistent basis so everyone is aligned around the plan (re-prioritize as necessary)
Partner closely with creative, sales, social, PR/communications, automation, digital media, product, tech/dev teams, to ensure cohesiveness and coordinated efforts across all touch points.
Ongoing management of customer surveys
Develop postmortems as necessary
Project manage campaigns with the ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget
Desired Skills and Experience:
Energetic self-starter with exceptional organizational, marketing, presentation, and leadership skills with a strong understanding of marketing and brand building
6-8+ years marketing experience.
Bachelor’s in marketing or a related field required. MBA preferred
Experience managing a team
Experience building and executing go-to-market plans with successful outcomes
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with an ability to simplify messaging and tell a compelling and engaging story
Comfortable communicating with sales, tech/development, and engineering teams
Comfortable leading through ambiguity
A testing mindset - always learning, iterating, and improving
Previous experience with media planning/buying, SEO, inbound marketing concepts, buyer personas, content journey maps, campaign development, and website development
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, environment
An ability to influence and drive others to hit the desired goals
Comprehend and interpret complex concepts along with solid decision-making skills in the face of imperfect data
Experience in B2C, preferably in technology, advertising agency, real estate
