Workrise is hiring a Senior Manager of Worker Success that will be responsible for building a brand new function in our Oil & Gas business, and ultimately leading a team of Worker Success Managers who own end-to-end relationships with our Workers. This function is similar to Customer Success in other organizations, except focused on Workers as Customers in Workrise’s two-sided marketplace. The primary goal of this new Worker Success function is to create a great experience for Workers via a high-touch, concierge-like service model. We believe that this experience will drive high loyalty in our workforce so that our Workers choose Workrise again and again. For these reasons, this new team is absolutely key to our growth as a business.

Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has deep experience in building and leading Customer Success teams and preferably some exposure to the Oil & Gas industry, and is passionate about great customer experiences, creating value, winning in the market and delivering on commitments. They will have a proven track record of inspiring teams around a strategic vision and fostering a strong culture of excellence and continuous improvement.  The position is highly visible within Workrise’s Oil & Gas Operations organization and involves frequent interaction with senior leaders and close partnership with the Sales Team and other internal teams.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the creation of a new Worker Success function at Workrise; developing and sharing a strategic vision, creating processes to support, and investing in talent and tools to achieve that vision
  • Leading a team of Worker Success Managers within the Oil & Gas segment, managing retention,  performance, service quality and worker satisfaction.
  • Reporting on team performance, monitoring and tracking KPIs and adjusting strategic direction where needed, including implementation of new initiatives
  • Implementing and delivering on innovative new programs in partnership with key cross-functional teams to ensure continuous Worker and business success
  • Providing strong support, coaching, and development to the team as they navigate through uncharted territory and unforeseen complexities
  • Setting the example for Worker Success Managers, demonstrating a constant Workers-first mentality to drive worker advocacy and value building internally
  • Proactively identifying and addressing procedural and product roadblocks to constantly improve the worker and Worker Success Manager experience, subsequently optimizing success and mitigating churn
  • Ensuring processes and procedures are standardized and applied, continuously improving them further in collaboration with leadership counterparts
  • Managing, prioritizing and delegating work based on sales and activity pipelines paired with data analysis in close partnership with support functions and other teams
  • Collaborating heavily with Sales, Worker Operations, and other key stakeholder teams to achieve joint targets
  • Thinking innovatively with a passion for problem-solving, healthy pragmatism and hands-on leadership mentality

What you should have:

  • 5+ years of people management experience in Sales, Relationship / Account Management or Customer Success teams
  • Enthusiasm for successfully building new functions with supporting talent and processes
  • People leadership experience with demonstrated ability to build a highly motivated and effective team, fostering a focus on trust, growth, and continuous improvement
  • Solid track record of over-achieving on performance metrics 
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to collaborate and influence effectively in a complex and fast-paced organization
  • Strong analytical mindset and proven ability to turn data into action
  • Oil & Gas industry experience a plus
