Senior Vice President & General Manager
Q2 Software, Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President/General Manager in our Austin location who will manage product road maps for cloud-based products that provide full life cycle support to originate and service loans across customer and commercial assets for small to mid-size financial institutions.
Job Duties:
- Analyze product technical requirements for various geographical regions and loan industries
- Provide input in the design and development of core modules and third-party integrations with external interfaces such as payment gateways and credit bureaus
- Lead the R&D department and oversee growth to promote future product development and innovation
- Oversee the development and updates of project plans for mobile technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, mobile platforms, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staff
- Oversee and manage the work of staff in operations, development & quality, sales, and marketing divisions
- Guide the strategy team for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships to enhance the overall value of the company's software solutions
- Guide the technical teams in executing plans with strategic partnerships and potential technology partners
- Build a strong global team of technical personnel that can drive product features from inception to delivery
- Analyze the organization's mobility needs and recommend possible applications and integration that could improve operational and technical efficiency
- Monitor and track customer implementations to ensure delivery and operational excellence
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or closely related field plus 6 years of management experience developing and executing growth strategies for cloud-based technologies, including Loan Management Systems (LMS), and leading Research and Development strategies for cloud-based projects.
Alternate Requirements:
- Master's in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or closely related field plus 4 years of management experience developing and executing growth strategies for cloud-based technologies, including Loan Management Systems (LMS), and leading Research and Development strategies for cloud-based projects.
Travel Requirements:
- 40% Domestic and International travel required.
