Professional Services SaaS Director, Global Vertical

SailPoint HQ in Austin, TX (will consider US - Remote work)

 

This position (part of our Professional Services team) supporting our SaaS products, is responsible for the ownership of our professional services client experience & project management office, from engagement scoping, and overall service delivery for our customers. This position is a senior position requiring project/customer management skill, technical skill, and professional services management skill. This position is meant to serve as a vertical leader to assist all geographies, assist in KPI ownership and ensure we have a global delivery strategy for our SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • SaaS Vertical
    • Day-to-day leadership of a SaaS Professional Services team, including sales, project management, handling of escalations, people leadership.
    • Manage the financials for the global vertical, with a focus on profitability and productivity to ensure client satisfaction
    • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure the team has a clear set of priorities.
    • Identify new opportunities for expanding SailPoint product/service usage to maximize client success and SailPoint revenue growth.
    • Identify areas of improvement from our client base and work with Product Management to address them.
    • Working with Geography leaders to ensure great outcomes from our projects and customers.
    • Managing other leaders within the team.
    • Assist with the sales process for services portions of deals, including presentations, RFP responses, scoping and proposal/SOW generation. Effectively interact with sales reps and sales leadership during the pre-sales and post-sales (delivery) phases.
    • Ensure that services are provided, implemented correctly and billed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Serve as point person for the client on Service Delivery issues / escalations and take accountability for remediating any service failures
    • Act as a liaison between other departments at SailPoint to ensure that the product is matured in a way that leads to successful and profitable projects.

 

  • Project Management Office
    • Responsible for the global project management office including all KPIs
    • Continuous improvement of our deployment methodology
    • Ownership of the Resource Management Office for the allocation of resources for key projects.
    • Coaching less experienced team members to develop their full potential.

 

  • Book of Business
    • Maintain a book of business for several regional areas
    • Manage the business relationship between SailPoint and assigned client accounts
    • Lead project scoping and technical requirements gathering discussions.
    • Performing a range of Professional Services management tasks such as project forecasting and financials, project staffing, working with delivery partners, and tuning project methodologies.
    • Provide strategic updates on clients’ performance to SailPoint Senior Management. Provide regular status updates to account teams and Sales Managers

 

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years in professional services management
  • Experience in a SaaS company a plus
  • 10+ years of people management experience
  • An exceptional mentor and leader with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience leading a large services team responsible for hitting quarterly targets.
  • Strong experience with all phases of Project Management (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)
  • Excellent communication skills and extensive experience working with clients and partners.
  • Experience and interest in Professional Services management duties (project forecasting and financials, project staffing, working with delivery partners, and tuning project methodologies)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in support for an enterprise software company a plus
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Governance concepts, products, and tangential technologies.
  • Security software or internal IT audit experience a plus.

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (Technical degree or Master’s degree a plus)
