Senior Manager IT Operations

Reporting to the Sr. Director of IT Operations, this position will be responsible for management of the company's global corporate infrastructure (both on premise and in the cloud). Technological Responsibilities
- Oversee operation and system administration of SailPoint's global IT infrastructure environments including:
- Three global data centers with thousands of Windows and Linux VMs and over 0.5 PB of enterprise storage that support Engineering development and test environments
- Dozens of AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud IaaS environments supporting business units across the company
- Global corporate Microsoft Windows domain, Azure Active Directory and SSO, and Office365
- IT security infrastructure including NGFWs, IDS/IPS, OpenDNS, on-prem and cloud-based VPN, and email security systems
- Multiple global LAN and WAN networks
- Office networks located in Austin, Israel, India, and the UK
- Work closely with SailPoint's Cybersecurity organization in support of IT security operations and administration of the company's security systems and applications
- Ensure all systems are implemented and managed according to vendor and industry best-practices
- Maintain proper patching of all systems in accordance with Cybersecurity risk requirements
- Maintain IT compliance activities and governance controls in support of the company's SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and SOX certifications
- Work closely with Engineering in support of SailPoint's development and test environments
- Stay abreast of key IT industry technologies, best practices, and strategies
- Help evaluate and implement new technology solutions, processes, and procedures
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors
- Assist in developing operational and capital expense budgets, including personnel budgets
Leadership Responsibilities
- Manage a team of IT system administration professionals to ensure the consistent delivery of strong results while embracing SailPoint's highly successful culture
- Manage department projects, schedules, tasks, and initiatives according to set of dynamic priorities
- Track progress and measure results across an organization
- Develop and maintain OKRs, KPIs, and other operational metrics
- Motivate and retain top IT talent, encourage professional development, and reward outstanding performance
- Mentor staff to help them grow in their skills and expertise across a wide array of technologies
- Deliver all IT results with an emphasis on strong customer service
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- 7+ years of progressively complex IT experience in enterprise environments
- 4+ years of IT leadership experience with a proven ability to successfully build and grow technical organizations at the enterprise level
- Extensive experience architecting, implementing, and managing complex global heterogeneous infrastructures
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Technologies including AD, AAD, Windows Domains, and Office365
- Experience managing cloud IaaS environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of a wide array of IT Security technologies including NGFW, IDS/IPS, VPNs (Palo Alto Networks is a big plus)
- Solid knowledge in Linux systems management
- Solid knowledge of Cisco networking
- Knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) and/or Identity Governance Administration (IGA) systems
- Experience with IT operations processes including ITSM, Asset Inventory/CMDB, and Change Management
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOX, SOC2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP
- Dynamic leader with a track record of delivering consistent results in complex, high growth environments
- Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high performing technical team
- Strong project organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated understanding how to measure team performance and track OKRs, KPIs, and other metrics
- Ability to foster a culture of helpfulness, strong customer service, and sense of urgency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Occasional travel required to our other sites or industry/training events
