Supply Chain Quality Auditor

As the Supply Chain Quality Auditor, your role will be hands-on and highly visible in ensuring our customers are constantly wowed and continuously satisfied. You’ll also be trusted with managing all product processes with top-level efficiency, while working closely with the Quality, New Product Development, and Supply Chain teams. Additionally, we’ll trust your expert eye to keep a watch on process compliance, product quality, the reduction of escaped rejects, and the validation and oversight of quality control plans.
A look at your day-to-day
- Take the lead on developing and maintaining internal and external audit schedules
- Help establish Quality Assurance standards
- Key coordinator for all process and quality audits at manufacturers, warehouses, and other YETI locations
- Fine tune the audit process by recommending changes to the quality, productivity, safety, and social compliance audit checklists
- Create and issue audit reports and communicate non-conformances to all stakeholders, including supplier representatives, Supply Chain personnel, Quality, Engineering, third-party vendors, and YETI leadership
- Collaborate to complete root cause analysis and track Corrective Action incidents
- Entrusted with any improvements needed to checklists, reports, and other documentation
- Relay instructions and provide training of the YETI quality processes to the appropriate personnel
- Support new product inspection by creating procedures and training methodology for incoming inspection
Now for a little bit about you….
- Minimum of 2 years in Supply Chain Operations
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Someone who is comfortable working cross-functionally and fearless to drive change
- Strong knowledge of SAP preferred
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Access and Excel
- Comfortable with their job being up to 70% travel based
