Through categorical expertise, we are responsible for implementing technical solutions to match the unique needs of our customers: these range from traditional sourcing needs to workforce management to on-demand services.
RigUp is hiring a Sourcer in our Austin office. Finding jobs for the men and women who power oil & gas is what motivates us. We’re looking for the recruiting and sales teammates who are passionate about building meaningful relationships with these individuals, working on our customer’s behalf to source his or her’s next role in the oilfield. You will actively manage and find opportunities for all hands across multiple categories, basins, and job profiles. You will work actively to understand our labor market needs, driving the business forward to enable job placement for the largest base of qualified labor in the industry.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure fulfillment against industry demand for labor
- Partner with our diverse base of oilfield workers to understand career needs and proactively match jobs commensurate with experience and desired position
- Speak the language of the oilfield and understand resume nuances
- Parse resumes and actively enhance the profiles of RigUp’s labor marketplace to create the best compendium of skilled labor possible
- Partner with our product, onboarding, and success teams to streamline the customer experience across each individual’s platform lifecycle
What you should have
- 1-3 years experience in customer facing roles (e.g., recruiting, sales, support, success, onboarding)
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas operations
- Lease operations and production services knowledge is a plus, but not required
- You have a ‘can do’ attitude, and willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- You are an entrepreneur at heart, and are willing to wear whatever hat the business requires
- Able to prioritize a multitude of tasks across different strategic dimensions
- You are results-driven, seeking to fulfill on customer requests 100% of the time
- You use data to educate your relationship-driven decision making, taking objective viewpoints and parsing signals from noise
- The phone is your friend - you embrace creating and maintaining relationships through texting, (cold) calling, and being available at odd hours to serve your expansive client base
- The idea of going into the field excites you: you love (or want to love) and understand the oilfield and the men and women who comprise the field at its core
- You thrive in relationship-based roles, and you approach your internal, cross-functional activities with the same rigor as you serve your customers
- You are a team player, and will prioritize business objectives over personal goals
- Contract-based experience within the oilfield a plus but not required
