If yes, then you could be our ideal System Administrator.

Our System Administrator will act as the security guard for our system. This role will assist our Sr. Manager, IT with maintaining upgrades, maintenance of systems and any installations needed for our employees. This individual will also assist with technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure and also educate our employees and act as the first point of contact for support within the business for technical needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong time-management skills and excellent communication skills, which enable him/her to work with various employees and leaders within the company.

Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to calls and emails, provide fast follow-up, and identify solutions. Collaborate with our internal and external customers to elaborate on project statuses and winning achievements.
  • Perform server administration tasks, including user management, security protocols, and network maintenance. Monitor for bugs, review incoming data and use existing tools to respond to issues as they arise. Develop and test new technologies as needed. Perform routine audits of the systems and perform the nightly backup as directed.
  • Assist with installations, maintaining and troubleshooting in systems and tools to include:
    • Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Server 2008 R2, Server 2012, Server 2016) 
    • Mac OS 
    • IOS Devices 
    • Android Devices 
    • Virtual environments (VMware) 
    • Active Directory 
    • Office365 Administration 
    • Atlassian Product Suite 
    • Slack 
    • Zoom 
  • Update internal inventory system and tagging of equipment to ensure accuracy of asset tracking.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associates degree or related technical training (or equivalent experience). 
  • 2 years Helpdesk and 1+ year system administration experience preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of business functions and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees in both technical and non-technical roles. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft operation systems, Windows software, hardware, various applications. 
  • Knowledge of MacOS, IOS, and Android OS. 
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. 
  • Ability to work with and support offshore team members with IT related help. 
  • Customer service and communication skills with experience in dealing with users in a similar environment. 
  • Experience with system networking and security, such as TCP/IP, NAS Security protocolsand printer connectivity. 
  • Willingness to be available during weekends and evenings to support our internal users and customers.
