Systems Administrator

RigUp is hiring a Systems Administrator that will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable automation and IT solutions across the business. Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who has a background in networking, automation, and implementing business critical systems.
This is a hybrid role. We are a small team and we ‘Team Up’ to facilitate rapid growth and company velocity. In this role, you can expect to have approximately 70% project time to 30% day to day operations which will include assistance with help desk escalations. What you'll be doing:
- Designing, installing, and administering Cisco Meraki firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless infrastructure
- Telecom integrations and migrations
- Proactively monitoring network components, while analyzing and tuning as required to meet performance demands
- Administration of GSuite, SaaS applications onboarding and offboarding via SSO and Bettercloud
- Administration of Jira and Confluence and using Automation for Jira
- Administration and support of Windows Server for mergers and acquisitions
- administration of Google Meet, Okta, and Zoom
- Owning projects from planning, technical design, to execution, delivery, and documentation
- Participate in providing internal business support by resolving escalations from the team
- Administer package creation, patch management policy and self-service software portal to the organization’s end points. (JAMF and\or Intune)Create and administer security policies
- Implementing and designing new business processes and tools
- Create new and update existing documentation for process, architecture, and FAQ
- Participate in providing internal business support by resolving escalation requests
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, etc.
What you should have:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network Administrator or Systems Administrator with a focus on networking required
- Experience with network or Cisco Meraki configuring switches, creating vlans, and supporting wireless networks required
- Experience with GSuite and Okta administration
- Experience administering packages and of Intune or JAMF
- Experience with Powershell or shell scripting required
- Experience automating systems required
- Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus
- Experience migrating and merging business systems a plus
