Lightspeed Systems has been building solutions to help K-12 IT departments keep technology safe and easily managed for twenty years, but we don’t stagnate; our solutions keep getting better. Our growing company is searching for a Sales Representative who can help improve efficiency as sales volume increases. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing current customers with 1-1,500 students, introducing additional product lines to customers, and meeting monthly/annual sales goals.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Maintain an accurate and organized pipeline
  • Proactively engaging customers to ensure their success and continuation of service
  • Contact customers to answer basic questions and to gauge their level of satisfaction with the company
  • Monitor active purchase orders and make sure that orders are completed on time
  • Report any service issues to the correct department immediately
  • Act as primary contact for your customers
  • Assist with opportunity management and opportunity corrections
  • Update and enter new customer information into database
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new products
  • Be able to communicate and present the Lightspeed portfolio of products

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Some knowledge SaaS industry sales preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required and college degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, and Word.
  • Basic understanding of Lightspeed software offerings and K12 education markets.
  • Basic sales experience. 
  • Prior experience with purchasing and collections ideal
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively operate with high-energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
  • You’re passionate about education and/or EdTech
