A technical test analyst will be mainly focused on test analysis/execution but also contribute to test automation with their Scrum team, utilizing scripts developed by the test automation team.
What You Will Be Doing At RapidDeploy
- Be able to comprehend systems engineering concepts.
- Develop deep understanding of the currently employed technologies, data models, application functionality and development process.
- Business case development.
- Be able to define and implement a test plan on multiple concurrent features.
- Preparation and communication of test reports during test execution.
- Coordinate test data creation with the developers and test analysts.
- Track new and changed requirements and ensure that they are addressed during testing.
- Make certain the project time allocated to testing is utilised efficiently and effectively.
- Organise, plan and support test case creation and adaption.
- Assist with test automation design, creation, maintenance and reporting.
- Participate in field testing.
- Exposure to context driven testing
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Diploma or degree in IT.
- 5 years of experience with test analysis.
- Proficiency in using Agile methodologies
- Exposure to JIRA or MS DevOps
- Automation exposure: Selenium
- Proficient in: Java, C#, Python
- Basic knowledge of SQL
