Spruce is looking for a Training Coordinator to join our team in setting up our community partners for success. The role builds strong property relationships to ensure their residents get the very best experience from Spruce and our service providers. The Training Coordinator is responsible for effectively providing a positive property experience, from introduction (onboarding) to launch, by working closely with onsite community teams during their initial days on the Spruce platform. To succeed in this role, you must have the ability to show empathy, humility, and comfort with ambiguity, as well as strong presentation and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Resident Engagement in launching new communities onto the Spruce platform
  • Work directly with the Sales and Support Teams to receive properties for onboarding
  • Effectively answer inbound property questions within a timely manner
  • Monitor available data services for community changes and perform outreach as needed
  • Evaluate and find ways to improve each community’s performance during the launch period
  • Help with performance improvement measures for identified at-risk communities
  • Demonstrate strong teaching and development skills by navigating properties through the pre-/post-launch process
  • Conduct individual property trainings and re-launches for those undergoing management changes
  • Proactively follow up with properties to ensure pre-, day-of-, and post-launch requirements have been completed
  • Collect community data to create a streamlined experience for properties and service providers
  • Strive to achieve and maintain launch and early post-launch engagement metrics

Additional

  • Collaborate with other members of the team to develop creative offerings and ways to promote Spruce services
  • Aid in the development of new training materials, self-service videos, and standardized processes
  • Document all property interactions and launch scheduling within SalesForce
  • Update community demographics, client contacts, and other relevant information in SalesForce as needed
  • Research community, market, and competitor information
  • Attend new employee training as well as a scheduled corporate off-site visit(s)

Qualifications

  • 1+ years working on-site at a residential apartment community OR 3+ years experience working in a client/customer support capacity with training responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present and influence effectively 
  • Self-motivated team player
  • Thorough understanding of Spruce business model 
  • Provide feedback to leadership on the efficiency of the property launch process 
  • High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
  • Comfortable with technology and a fast-paced environment
  • Preference for candidates located in Austin, Dallas-Fort Worth, or Houston metros
