Reporting to the EVP of Brokerage, the responsibilities include overseeing the Institutional and Bulk single-family home and land acquisitions, investment committees, and managing a team of Senior Sourcing Associates. This is a telecommute/remote role. Travel is required; approximately 25% of national travel

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight leader of the business plan and execution of Institutional and Bulk acquisitions through the operations of the platform

  • Originating business in every division—tailored to +30-unit SFR Portfolios, +50 lot portfolios, establishing relationships with each market’s top 10 home builders, Bulk Portfolio Owners, and Institutional Owners

  • Managing existing and forming new institutional relationships (owner, brokerage, servicer/bank)

  • Tracking team success and generating monthly reports (i.e. KPI) to submit and present to EVP

  • Manage Senior Associates responsible for identifying and underwriting investment opportunities in accordance with corporate directives

  • Driving in place acquisition divisions and creating alternate channels

  • Ensures cross-functional operational feedback occurs on each asset to improve buy box, process, and decision making upstream and downstream

  • Effectively communicate internally and externally

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance - Master’s degree preferred

  • 8+ years of experience, High Unit / High Dollar real estate acquisitions at the Institutional and Bulk Owner level.

  • Broker or Sales oriented role experience preferred

  • Demonstrated experience building and leading teams

  • Strong communication skills at all levels within the organization.

  • Data analytics-driven, and able to create & deliver reports for executive leadership and investors

  • The candidate should be extremely detail-oriented and organized with a proven ability to work well in a high-intensity environment to complete tasks quickly and effectively
