Reporting to the US General Manager, the VP of Value Based Contract Management is a vital member of the US management team and is responsible for managing all aspects of the value based agreements that Babylon holds with payors and self-insured entities.  

Babylon enters into global risk sharing arrangements in order to deploy a virtual-first model of healthcare delivery that has already proven to improve access, quality and member experience while lowering downstream spend. Essential to the success of Babylon’s US market is managing performance across all levels of risk agreements, including attribution, quality, risk coding and utilization management.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Leads in the development of the comprehensive Value Based Performance Management strategy for Babylon’s entire US Operations market.
• Partners with the Commercial team during contract negotiations, and assume responsibility for contract performance after signing.
• Oversight of a team of dedicated contract managers and analysts
• Develops connections at various levels of the payor organization to drive collaborative approaches to contract success
• Works with Finance and Analytics to develop insights on how to drive value based contract performance, and serves as a liaison to Clinical Operations and Marketing to scope initiatives geared towards meeting or exceeding contractual goals.
• Reviews contract performance against expectations and informs future negotiations to strengthen our value proposition and improve our competitive position.
• Continuously monitors trends in the payor and provider industry and surfaces key insights to the rest of the US management team.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 10+ years of experience in contract or account management, owning contract performance post execution
• 5+ years of healthcare leadership experience with proven success meeting SLA’s and delivering against KPI’s
• Proven ability to work cross functionally in order to obtain data and insights to drive increased performance
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Experience with digit first primary care services and/or telemedicine preferred
