About the Operations Excellence Team:

The Operations Excellence team is laser-focused on continuous improvement to provide the best customer experience for small businesses. The Website Operations Specialists are a team of technical experts who set our customers up for success online. This team analyzes a customer’s eligibility for a website to provide a creative & accurate solution, while offering technical support on the back end. We’re a team of high-achieving, detail-oriented problem solvers who come to work every day excited to make our customers’ lives a little less complicated.

Who are you?

  • You are a fit with Main Street Hub’s values and are passionate about supporting local businesses and communities.
  • You are comfortable talking with customers when they least expect it, and you communicate effectively to set expectations through written and verbal communication. You are assertive in a sales or customer service situation.
  • You are meticulous and precise when executing a task. When it comes to details, you are painstakingly accurate and consistently thorough.
  • You can prioritize and re-prioritize ruthlessly, and you enjoy working toward higher and higher efficiency with a “get it done” attitude.
  • You have an eye for visual design and tech savvy. Domain hosting experience is a plus!
  • You’re pumped about working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or relevant, transferable work experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Diagnose the current state of a customer’s website and domain.
  • Pitch the value of our website service to new and existing customers over the phone and via email to maximize conversion.
  • Handle credential setup including gathering information from customers, creating new domains, and initiating assistance from third-party agencies.
  • Review website previews to ensure accurate information, correct grammar/punctuation, and visual appeal before the website goes live.
  • Support customers post-launch website requests.
  • Any other responsibilities as may arise in the context of a fast-moving startup.
