RetailMeNot has an exciting new opportunity for a People Analytics and Systems Manager to join us at our awesome headquarters in the heart of downtown Austin. You will be the go-to Workday and analytics person for the People team. Do you have solid Workday experience and system knowledge? Do you like to find innovative ways to use data to improve People processes, and provide informed recommendations and insights to the business? Who You Are

  • 5+ years of Workday HCM administration including Audits, Access, Security, Business Processes, Positions, Hierarchies, Supervisory Orgs and EIB
  • Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, SAS or similar programs. Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience with a Workday implementation and covering multiple geographies preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to organize/prioritize work with a consistent track record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
  • Confidence leading and influencing others.
  • Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint; In Excel, must have ability to build pivot tables, vlookups).
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related subject, along with at least 5 years of analysis and/or reporting experience plus a minimum of 3 years experience with Workday HRIS.

What You'll Do (People Analytics)

  • Responsible for delivery of reporting and analytics strategy for global People team. This includes, but is not limited to: developing & maintaining People analytics dashboard aligned with global People strategies/ OKRs, Operating leaders bi-weekly reporting, Executive team quarterly reporting and ad-hoc requests, and company all-hands meetings.
  • Create compelling reporting to support annual engagement survey including results, key initiative dashboards and intermittent “pulse” result reporting
  • Assist People team with creation of advanced reports to support day to day responsibilities, as well as create ad hoc reports to better enable People to utilize meaningful data in their decision-making.
  • Identify operational reporting requirements, and liaise with relevant team members to address these requirements – whether it’s within the business or within People leadership. Act as the subject matter expert for data governance standards, and communicate these to the groups you support.
  • Main point of contact for all People reporting needs

What You'll Do (Workday)

  • Act as THE authority on the People team for all things pertaining to Workday and the administration and analysis of employee data.
  • Implement solutions that enable us to work better, faster, smarter. Participate in People technology initiatives by assisting with business requirement gathering, business process review, project management, testing, training, documentation development, communication and business configuration. This includes support for annual/ semi-annual upgrades and annual People processes (performance, compensation, open enrollment, etc…)
  • Participate in training activities and crafting user manuals for People team and end-users
  • Diagnose and resolve issues (end-user, business process, security, integration), working with Workday Project Manager as appropriate.
  • Ensure alignment and adherence to all audit and compliance practices (i.e., LOA, FLSA, EEO, payroll). Handle sensitive data with care and only when necessary, ensure all necessary security measures are taken.
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of system upgrades or patches. Actively monitor new mandatory versus optional features released by Workday and ensure People team is aware of changes, all end-user changes are communicated timely, and any potential process or integration issues are timely and actively problem- solved.
  • Participate in the Workday Community, propose improvements to the Workday solution, as needed. Build a network of peers to best-practice-share with.
