Job requirements

We’re looking for a dynamic Sr. Product Manager – Active Solutions to join our growing product organization and help define the next generation of Aptia’s benefits administration and partner ecosystem.
Reporting to the VP of Active Solutions, this role is the execution arm for strategy — turning market insight, partnership opportunities, and product vision into actionable plans and deliverables. You will evaluate new growth opportunities, define products and pricing models, shape go-to-market strategies, and drive the evolution of Aptia’s expanding network of benefits solutions and partners.
This role is ideal for a strategic, externally facing product professional with deep experience in health benefits administration and a passion for translating opportunity into execution.
Location: This position is hybrid from our Lake Mary, FL office (three days per week onsite). Remote work may be considered for candidates located outside of the Lake Mary area, with a preference for those based on the East Coast or able to work Eastern Time hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the VP of Product to define strategy and execution for Aptia’s Active and Target Solutions portfolio — including benefits administration, dependent verification, communications, spending accounts, and emerging solutions such as total rewards and well-being.

  • Lead product discovery, definition, and market evaluation for new products, services, and partnerships — including competitive research, ROI analysis, and business case development.

  • Own product execution and lifecycle management for assigned Target and Partner solutions, ensuring alignment with AptiaOne platform evolution and go-to-market priorities.

  • Drive partnership enablement across carriers, HCMs, and the broader partner network — supporting contract design, integration planning, and commercialization.

  • Translate strategy into actionable requirements, pricing, and SKUs in collaboration with Product Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial teams.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Delivery to ensure successful launches, adoption, and measurable business impact.

  • Monitor product performance and market trends to inform continuous improvement, portfolio optimization, and expansion opportunities.

  • Represent the voice of the market and the client, ensuring that every solution we deliver enhances value, differentiates Aptia, and advances our position as a modern benefits administration leader.

What You Bring

  • 6–10 years of experience in benefits administration. HR technology, or health insurance ecosystems experience considered.

  • Proven ability to translate market opportunity and business strategy into actionable product roadmaps and execution plans.

  • Deep and broad understanding of benefits operations, carrier partnerships, and third-party ecosystem dynamics (e.g., COBRA, FSAs/HSAs, communications, verification, total rewards).

  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen — comfortable with pricing strategy, business cases, and performance metrics.

  • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to deliver compliant outcomes at scale.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to engage credibly with executives, clients, and partners.

  • Strategic mindset with a “get-it-done” orientation — equally comfortable shaping vision and executing detail.

  • Bonus: Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment and familiarity with data-driven product management practices.
