Why we need you:

Our Product Design team, comprised of people that span both UX and UI design skills, is looking for a Visual Designer to design new features and assist with the extension of a new design system across our entire platform, both web and mobile.

This is a great opportunity for a Visual Designer looking to grow and transition into the world of user experience.

As a Product Designer (UI/UX), you will:

  • Provide all mockups, wireframes, prototypes, final visual design, and flows when needed
  • Work closely with product, UX designers, and engineering teams to iterate on existing features or introduce new features and make them robust experiences for our customers
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards
  • Test your designs with users, iterating on your designs when they don't work
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to manage, curate, and expand our design system

In order to succeed, you will:

  • Have broad knowledge of core set of concepts including: interface design, interaction design, designing for devices and prototyping, illustration skills, visual identity, and design systems development
  • Focus on growing as a Designer and a desire to learn about user research, interaction design, new design processes and where they fit into the workflow
  • Understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Have experience providing and accepting feedback graciously and learning from everything you do
  • Be a self starter attitude who will bring original ideas and fresh approaches to each project, not matter how big or small
  • Stress the details and understand how to work with developers and product owners
  • Think in terms of design systems
  • Have exceptional visual form skills
  • Have a strong portfolio demonstrating visual and interaction design
  • Be detail-oriented and have highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Have strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to responsive web-based applications
