Bold is looking for a talented Channel Manager to bring their expertise in ecommerce and channel sales to our Technology Partnerships Team. Reporting to the Director of Partnerships, this person will be responsible for finding new ways to drive our company forward, including new sales channels, verticals, platforms, and technologies that expand our capabilities and markets. You will also take our current roster of partners to the next level by cultivating new and existing partnerships that drive creative and scalable ways of leveraging Bold. The core of this position is deepening relationships and discovering new opportunities to drive revenue growth. Ultimately, it’s about ensuring the success of Bold’s products as we bring them to new markets.

What you’ll do

  • Discover and develop new business relationships with technology vendors that will help guide our overall company direction and strategy
  • Build internal and external business cases to capitalize on new opportunities 
  • Research potential technology partners, identifying key players, generating interest through networks, cold calls, emails, and prospecting tools
  • Negotiate contracts to maximize our partnership potential and product offering
  • Manage the full partnership cycle from prospect and contract to integration and on-going management
  • Build strong relationships with technology partners by maintaining high levels of engagement and execution
  • Be a trusted advisor to our technology partners and customers by utilizing high levels of integrity and transparency
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage 3rd-party vendor relationships as needed 
  • Define key processes that will help scale and continue to grow and accelerate the amazing trajectory we are currently on

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of ecommerce partnerships experience, preferably with technology vendors, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding assigned objectives
  • A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold’s mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
  • Ability to own your territory and treat it as if it’s your own business
  • Ability to communicate a vision with conviction to stakeholders at all levels 
  • Depth of knowledge in business practices, industry practices and trends, and sales cycles
  • Sound experience in understanding, communicating, and analyzing ROI in the negotiation process 
  • Experience working with legal representatives in redlining contracts and partnership agreements to be executed efficiently and effectively
  • Experience working with business counterparts on complex, partner-driven sales opportunities
  • Ability to travel into territory a minimum of 25% of the month
  • Familiarity of Bold’s products or technologies
  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce or another ecommerce platform that depends on integration partners
  • Experience with a CRM (Salesforce/Hubspot)
