We are looking for a co-founder and lead engineer/developer to join us at Qwipt.
Qwipt is an internet of things company who builds anti-theft devices that can be installed directly into electronic musical equipment. With the advancement of GPS receivers, long range radio (LoRa) and increasingly robust 4G/LTE networks, we can accurately track electronic assets in real time.
At Qwipt we believe in advancing these new technologies, developing smart, intuitive, easy to use software and most importantly protecting musicians from instrument theft that plagues the industry.
We are seeking an inventive and talented individual to contribute to our product in either a technological role in engineering the GPS/radio modules, or as an application developer who can digest the data into a format more appealing and user friendly for clientele. This position allows an opportunity to be not only a contributor, but also a creative force in developing a product that blends the interconnectivity of our devices with the music industry and law enforcement.
This is an opportunity to be a co-founder of a startup that offers the flexibility of working one's own schedule and setting a level of contribution that fits within their desired lifestyle. We are looking for a self-starter who is able to work and complete tasks on their own, but is also just as comfortable working side-by-side others in a group environment.
Compensation and vesting schedule will be based upon relevant work experience as well as the amount of time willing and able to contribute to the product.
You have 2 - 5 years of experience in at least four of the following categories
- Internet of Things
- Electronic Circuits
- Cellular Networks/Long Range Radio (Lora)

If interested or applying, please feel free to ask any and all questions. This is not a traditional position and as such the aforementioned roles, responsibilities and requirements include a degree of flexibility.
