SailPoint is seeking a Director of Product Analytics to operationalize the function as we scale our SaaS products. You will be a key member of the product team providing meaningful insights on the value and performance of the product to a variety of stakeholders including product managers and the customer facing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a thought leader to develop and advance the broader vision of understanding our customers, their journeys through our SaaS products, and how best to break down and understand opportunities for product development while establishing the optimal customer experience. Deliver a fact-based understanding and insights of customer usage that are actionable for the organization.
- Engage with stakeholders to build processes and tooling that provide user engagement information to Product and other key partners such as Strategy, Sales, and Support with goals of optimizing product decision-making and correlating user activity with long-term value. Provide analysis to uncover adoption and retention drivers.
- Advocate on behalf of Product teams to prioritize development of capabilities that enable greater depth of understanding user behavior. Use data as an inspiration to proactively shape product roadmap and formulate solutions that drive performance and profitability
- Manage and prioritize demands for data, ad hoc analytics, and product reporting from multiple stakeholders, reallocating resources as necessary to ensure alignment with business priorities
Requirements:
- 15+ years' experience in Product Management, Product Analytics, or Data Science
- Proven record of successful metric-driven product impact in collaboration with an engineering team
- Very strong critical thinking and analysis skills. Ability to take an ambiguous problem and use data to identify goals and clear metrics, and drive a team to deliver on those goals
- Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for driving change with a collaborative leadership style
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple functions
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
