Director of Product
The Director, Product Management will be someone who is passionate about building products and has a track record of achieving business goals. This individual should be able to make decisions that reflect a deep understanding of current lead generation strategies. The Director, Product Management will interact daily with analytics, design, marketing, product, strategic partnerships, and technology teams.
What will you do?
A list of responsibilities includes
- Successfully manages direct reports
- Successfully manages new product launches
- Investigates and proposes unique competitive product strategies to support growth
- Communicates effectively to internal audiences; drives communication cross-functionally
- Makes decisions and executes in a way consistent with Realtor.com culture and values
- Partners with leaders across the organization
- Provides specialized technical guidance to others across the organization
- Collaborates with other product leaders to share best practices
Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of ten years of experience with a demonstrated interest and passion for building online products. A list of qualifications includes:
- 10 years+ product experience
- Up-to-date knowledge of current lead generation and online business strategies
- Ability to find non-obvious problems and opportunities
- Ability to implement differentiated and innovative solutions
- Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variables
- Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
- Drives product vision, and multi-quarter roadmap, with data and user insights to support customer/business goals, that impacts business strategy
- Can effectively apply principles/frameworks, and create new ones as needed, to identify opportunities, prioritize and create data-driven solutions
- Delegates effectively and demonstrates the ability to get things accomplished through others
- Shows an ability to influence cross-functional teams to obtain desired results
- Solid understanding of online traffic acquisition
- Solid understanding of Agile web development processes
- Knowledge of web development technologies
- College degree (or equivalent experience)

- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate data and adjust strategies as needed

- Effectively provides specialized technical guidance to others across the organization
- Persuasively maneuver through complex and sensitive situations and maintain a constructive discussion
- Represents the product and product decisions and elicits confidence up and down the chain of command across all functions in the organization
