Head of Product

LoudCrowd, one of the fastest growing companies in Austin and backed by many of the most successful investors and entrepreneurs in Austin, is looking for a product leader.

LoudCrowd helps brands market through their customers.  We believe that customers sharing the brands they love on social media is a better way to market than creepy digital hyper-targeting, and we’ve built tools to help brands get their customers to create more social content.


The Role

LoudCrowd is looking for a product leader to take over the vision / execution of our software products. Currently, our two software products are managed by our CEO, four product-conscious engineers, and our product designer. This person will report directly to the CEO, and with success will be one of the core decision-makers in the company.


The Products

Growth - Our flagship product helps brands create "UGC" (user-generated content) and ambassador programs that incentivize all of their customers to create social content. It is a patent-pending, one of a kind product that is delivering transformative results for brands. We fundamentally believe this product is the future of marketing

Measure - Our analytics product helps brands measure the value of their UGC (user-generated content). It's a best-in-class, self-service product that transforms how brands think about their social content.


What You'll do:

  • In collaboration with the CEO, own the 6-12 month product roadmap

  • Mature our product processes and increase engineering efficiency

  • Take ownership of the software user-experience and drive excellence, particularly with our self-service customers

  • Work with sales, marketing and customer success to capture product feedback and deliver product enhancements

  • Develop an intimate understanding of the market and tangential companies to guide our own roadmap

  • You'll start as responsible for "How do we get there?"... and gradually be responsible for "How will we win?"


About You:

  • Owned a software product before and can build / manage the product org + processes

  • Data-driven and a high level of comfort / vision for product analytics

  • Extremely collaborative, candid, and transparent. The ability to work with the team is more important than your product knowledge

  • Very strong attention to detail and very high "product / UX standards"

  • Capable of synthesizing information from different sources to drive product features

  • Previously worked at a company with less than 50 people, and the prospect of doing so again excites you (for a short period of time... we're growing VERY quickly)

What are some social events your company does?

Every other Friday, we morph our weekly wrap up into a company event. We take the time to hang out, get outdoors, and talk about things outside of work. It gives the team a space to decompress and go over all the random things we don't get to during the week. It's a great way to build company culture while respecting work/life balance.

What does your typical day look like?

As a client strategist, I meet with my brand clients on their UGC programs and creating client stories (like case studies). I also work closely with our internal teams: engineering for new product launches, sales for new clients sold, and marketing for customer stories.
