SCOPE OF ROLE

Join the Administrative Process and Technology team as the Lead Product Manager - Planning & Forecasting in support of the Finance Planning and Forecasting functionalities. This role will establish product roadmaps, prioritize initiatives and manage backlogs, support system implementations, and prepare finance product agility to emerging operational systems, processes, and/or product changes, all while partnering with Operations, Technology, and Finance business counterparts.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Lead Product Manager - Planning & Forecasting job description is intended to point out major responsibilities within the role, but it is not limited to these items.

  • Facilitate and enable Planning, Budget, and Forecasting functionality of Finance's Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation
  • Supports configuration, testing method, training development, and change management efforts for Finance's Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud implementation
  • Develops and executes strategies for the ongoing enhancements, expansion, and support of the Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud deployment
  • Establish and maintain the roadmap by determining strategies and visions for Finance processes, applications, and tools based on customer needs, industry trends, and emerging technologies for responsible processes
  • Owns Finance's product management prioritization and backlog of ongoing work efforts in support of responsible processes
  • Builds comprehensive product life cycle management plans to deliver new solutions, enhancements, automation, continuous improvement, and stability
  • Manage the relationship with Finance business partners and accountable for engagement with partners across the company ensuring enterprise strategies are identified and prioritized within the Finance technology planned worked
  • Leads Finance's M&A system integration activities for responsible areas
  • Leads efforts to design automate controls and remediate deficiencies by working with process owners, internal auditors, and technology partners across responsible processes
  • Identifies, evaluates, and implements new and emerging technologies to improve current Finance processes and operations in conjunction with technology across responsible processes
  • Establishes routines to mitigate risks through effective use of controls throughout Finance’s business process and technology landscape for responsible processes in partnership with the business subject matter experts and internal controls team

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Significant relevant experience (8+ years) with a strong background delivering results and ERP experience
  • 2+ years team management experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to exercise judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, data integration and controls, and process improvement through enabling technologies
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, financial management reporting, planning and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, and/or Information Systems

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to exercise judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The majority of work responsibilities are performed in an open office setting, carrying out detailed work sitting at a desk/table and working on the computer. Travel may be required.
