Chive Media Group is seeking an eCommerce Site Manager who is a self-motivated individual with experience and skills in commerce content management, writing and editing for the web, and site management. The eCommerce Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to- day coordination of the processes related to maintaining and monitoring TheChivery.com.

This role requires exceptional organizational and communicative skills and possess the ability to work under strict timelines in a fast moving high-energy environment. The eCommerce Site Manager will report to the Director of Merchandising and work across functional teams on special projects related to: operational improvements, site experience, and content strategy.

Job Description:

  • Prepare content, imagery, copy, pricing and inventory for the website(s).
  • Oversee data entry to ensure accurate images, product details and creative/informative product copy.
  • Partner with creative team on all site assets needed to build product pages, landing pages and collection pages.
  • Coordinate with inventory team to ensure accurate onsite stock levels and merchandising changes are made to reflect product availability.
  • Upload all website assets (creative copy, product imagery, pricing, promotions, etc.) to back-end system and complete QA process before publishing to live website(s).
  • Own site navigation, items tags and classifications and customer facing taxonomy.
  • Manage product catalog across all brands and sales channels.
  • Execute promotions and markdowns; perform general site maintenance on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Partner with store operations, customer service, planning, and fulfillment teams to ensure
  • Consistent communication of events and initiatives across channels.
  • Conduct regular analysis of site performance & user behavior metrics.
  • Coordinate with editorial team to support product launches and ensure editorial inclusions in product related galleries.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree required.
    • Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
    • Experience using a CMS and eCommerce platform. Shopify experience preferred.
    • Experience optimizing product sales using web metrics.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand and manipulate basic spreadsheets.
    • Understanding of theCHIVE community and brand (preferred).
    • Strong written and oral communication skills.
