Adobe is looking for an experienced product manager responsible for product strategy, planning and execution and development of new revenue generating products within the various e-commerce domains for the Magento product, with focus on checkout and pre- and post-sales functions.  This spans from market research through delivery to customers in a lean product environment.  You’ll work with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers, marketers & technology partners to help develop the digital commerce roadmap and grow the revenue it generates. The candidate will have deep experience in the digital e-commerce domain.

 

Key Tasks:

  • Define and collaborate on product strategy for products within the Magento Merchant Solutions domain, inclusive of definition of market driven product capabilities, market and technology review, partner review, and financial due diligence
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative market research to develop a deep understanding of Magento business, customer & partner needs
  • Develop business cases for new offerings, obtain executive approval to invest, and manage product performance to achieve P&L objectives
  • Collaborate with Adobe partner organization and assist in identification and selection of external partners to support new offers
  • Establish and lead cross functional teams across multiple time-zones as necessary
  • Collaborate with the open-source community, technology & solution partners
  • Work with product development in an Agile environment, crafting high quality user stories inclusive of robust acceptance criteria

 

Job Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in e-commerce product management, including prior experience working with pre- and post-sales business functions such as Channel Sales, Checkout, Shipping/Fulfillment and other related areas
  • Previous delivery of multiple successful products to market; experience executing product Go-to-Market plans including internal enablement of sales, marketing & support teams
  • Experience with market research & customer interviewing techniques
  • Strong stakeholder management & cross organization negotiation skills
  • Ability to share a compelling narrative about their product: what problem it solves, for whom, how and why solving this problem matters in the first place
  • Creative problem solver, analytic thinker, and quick learner. Strong conceptual and creative problem-solving skills; ability to work with considerable ambiguity and un-assisted
  • Results-motivated self-starter; relentlessly resourceful and scrappy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business initiatives
  • Tremendous attention to detail; process-oriented & organized
  • Strong communication skills with ability to speak in the appropriate voice upwards and downwards
  • Technical understanding of web application architecture in particular LAMP (Linux – Apache – MySQL – PHP) technologies is highly desired
  • Hands-on experience with web application development and web API technologies and systems (such as Java, PHP, GraphQL, REST, etc.) is highly desired

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or equivalent field; or 10+ years of professional field experience
